I've read Hot Property Susanne O`leary`s latest book, so when she gifted me this book to read for an honest review I couldn't say no. Then she told me it was her first novel. I held my reservations bearing in mind that it was her first book.
I didn't need to, I could see from this book that her style was there right from the off.
This book was full of love, desire, intrigue, mystery. I didn't get the mystery person until a while later, then I was shouting `you cad`
Connor made me mad at times I wanted to slap him. Juan was so suave!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this read, was very entertaining.
Now onto book 2!
Susanne O'Leary takes us behind the scenes into the diplomatic life, as Anna tries to be a proper diplomat's wife but ends up doing the wrong things for the right reasons, and getting herself in and out of scrapes and romances.
Anna is a heroine that most women can easily identify with, and her journey of accepting herself and discovering the value of friendship and marriage was enjoyable and fun to read, and holds lessons for all of us!
This was not my favorite Susanne O'Leary book. I didn't like the characters or plot, however I did like the choice that the main character made in the end.
Just a good escape novel.a good beach read or for you have nothing better to do on a day off.
